TJ Gilles is the third generation to work here at Gilles Smith Purdum after the agency was started in 1968 by his Grandfather, Dick Smith. He graduated from Ohio Dominican University in 2015 with a BS in Business Administration. After graduating college, TJ worked in finance at Nationwide Financial as a Regional Internal Consultant before joining the family business. He has acquired the Commercial Lines Coverage Specialist (CLCS) designation and is a constant student of the industry. He is a huge sports fan stemming from his time playing football in high school and in college for Ohio Dominican. He enjoys his days not in the office either spending time outdoors or with his friends and family.
