GSP Insurance was originally founded by Dick Smith in 1968. Decades later, in 2005, Dick’s son Rick purchased the agency, which later continued in the hands of Rick’s sister and Dick’s daughter, Kim Gilles, who continues to preserve the legacy of true integrity and care for clients’ needs.
Kim has been in the insurance business since 1982 and had a small agency in Delaware, OH. She has worked in commercial underwriting on the company side right out of college. Although she enjoyed working in the company atmosphere, she was drawn to helping her customers find the best fit in coverage and premium. She wanted to make sure that the clients have the coverage they need to fit their budgets.
