Kim has been in the insurance business since 1982 and had a small agency in Delaware, OH. She acquired GSP Insurance from her brother, Rick, who initially took on the family legacy in 2005 from their father, Dick Smith. Dick initially founded the agency in 1968.

Kim has worked in both the agency side and as a commercial underwriter on the company side right out of college. She received a degree in business with a specialization in insurance from Bowling Green State University.

Although she enjoyed working in the corporate atmosphere, Kim was drawn to helping her customers find the best fit in coverage and premium. She wanted to make sure that clients have the coverage they need to fit their budgets. We are a family-owned and operated business with combined insurance experience of over 200 years.
